About This Beach
Slaughterhouse Beach, despite its name, is a beautiful, secluded cove on the northwest coast of Maui. Limited parking and a set of stairs leading down to the beach help keep crowds manageable, especially in the mornings. This beach offers excellent snorkeling opportunities, often with turtle sightings, and enjoyable waves for body surfing and boogie boarding. While it lacks amenities like restrooms, its natural beauty and relatively tranquil atmosphere make it a favorite among visitors seeking a more off-the-beaten-path experience.
