About This Beach
Palauea Beach is a beautiful, secluded beach in Makena, Maui, characterized by its stunning sunsets, calm waters (in parts) and excellent snorkeling opportunities. The beach is partially surrounded by luxury homes, giving it a unique atmosphere, but it also has a less-developed feel compared to more commercialized beaches. Limited parking and the absence of many amenities make for a tranquil experience.
