About This Beach
Kaulahao Beach, also known as Tavares Beach, is a small, relatively secluded beach on Maui's north shore renowned for its abundant sea turtle population. While parking is available, it can be limited, especially during peak hours. The beach offers easy access but lacks amenities like restrooms and lifeguards.
