Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve's Middle Beach is a pristine, uncrowded beach characterized by its quiet atmosphere, abundance of seashells and shark teeth, and minimal amenities (a porta-potty is the only facility). The beach offers a peaceful escape from touristy areas, with parking available across the street, followed by a walk over the dunes. Its unique golden sand distinguishes it from typical white sand beaches.
